Installing, activating and working with the KeyoEase panel in Premiere Pro.

Current for version 0.1

System requirements

HostsAdobe Premiere Pro and After Effects 2022 (22.0) and newer
Operating systemWindows 10/11, macOS 11 and newer
ProcessorIntel and Apple Silicon
InternetNeeded for activation and periodic checks; not needed for everyday work

The interface language of Premiere and After Effects doesn't matter: the panel looks up properties by their internal names, not by their UI labels.

Installation

Windows

  1. Close Premiere Pro.
  2. Download the KeyoEase-Setup.exe installer — the bot gives you the link after purchase or when you start the trial.
  3. Run it and wait for it to finish. The installer puts the panel into the Adobe extensions folder and adds the certificate to the trusted ones — without this Premiere won't load the extension.
  4. Open Premiere and find the panel: menu Window → Extensions → Keyo Ease.
  5. Dock the panel wherever you like in your workspace — Premiere remembers the spot.

macOS

The bot gives you a keyoease.zxp file — the package is already signed, no extra scripts needed.

  1. Close Premiere Pro.
  2. Install keyoease.zxp with the ZXP Installer — a free utility from aescripts with a macOS version: just drag the file into its window.
  3. Launch Premiere and open the panel: Window → Extensions → Keyo Ease.

On first launch macOS may say the file was downloaded from the internet. Right-click it → Open, and confirm — it's a one-time thing.

The license key is not asked for during installation — you enter it inside the panel. If there's no "Extensions" item or the panel is empty, see the If something's wrong section.

Trial period

The trial is 7 days of the full version — no feature limits, no card required. It's granted once per computer: reinstalling the plugin or the OS doesn't open a new trial.

When it runs out, the panel stops opening. Projects, curves and the keyframes you already set stay in place — the plugin changes regular Premiere keys and writes nothing of its own into the project.

Key activation

  1. The purchase happens in the Telegram bot; the key and the installer link arrive there right away.
  2. Open the panel in Premiere and paste the key into the activation field.
  3. Press Activate — the panel talks to the server and remembers the license on this computer.

The key stays in your chat with the bot, so losing it is hard: open the conversation and find the message with the key.

The license never expires: you buy once, and updates within the version are free. There is no subscription.

Working with the panel

Presets

The Presets tab is a catalog of 61 ready-made curves: classic ease-in/out, springs and bounces, camera moves, title animations and interface motion. Pick a preset, adjust the numeric parameters if needed (bounces, height, decay, valleys and peaks) and apply. The easing presets page breaks the set down.

Graph

The Graph tab is the Bezier curve editor: points with handles, double-click the line to add a point, double-click a point to remove it, grid snapping. Changes show up on the curve immediately.

Applying to keys

The order is: keys first, then the curve, and only then the property choice.

  1. Set keyframes on the clip as usual — the plugin works with existing animation, it doesn't create it from scratch.
  2. Select that clip on the timeline.
  3. In the panel, pick a preset or draw your own curve.
  4. Press Apply — a window opens listing the properties that have keys on the clip. Animated properties are checked right away.
  5. Keep the checkboxes where you want the curve and confirm. Premiere updates the interpolation of every checked property in one pass.

The panel finds animated properties and offers them as a list — no hunting for them by hand. The Reset button removes what the plugin placed.

The curve applies to clip transform properties: Position, Scale, Opacity, Rotation, Anchor Point. Effect parameters and third-party plugins are in the works — arriving in one of the next updates. Time Remapping is not supported.

Devices and working offline

Computers per key2 — say, a work machine and a home one
Simultaneous usethe panel is open on one computer at a time
Slot releaseautomatic, about 2 minutes after the panel closes
Working offlineup to 14 days in a row, then a one-time license check

Both computers are bound to the key and stay bound — you can switch between them as much as you like. The only limit is simultaneous use: if the panel is open on the work machine, at home it will say KeyoEase is already open on another device and offer to close it there. Close Premiere on the first — in about two minutes the slot frees itself, and the panel on the second opens without any action on your part.

When the internet is needed

First key entry and trial startrequired — that's when the computer gets bound
While the panel is opena short "the panel is open here" check once a minute
Unbinding devicesrequired
Curve editing and applying to keysno network needed — everything is computed on your machine

Without a network, an already-activated plugin keeps working for up to 14 days — on a trip or a commute it doesn't get in the way. When the deadline nears, the panel asks you to go online once.

Unlinking devices

Reset isn't for switching between your own computers — that happens on its own. It's for when a computer died, was sold, or was reinstalled without deactivating and the slot stayed taken.

In the panel choose "Reset binding" and enter your key, then open the Telegram bot @keyostorebot and send it the command /reset KEYO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX with your key — a six-digit confirmation code appears right in the bot chat. The code is valid for 10 minutes: enter it in the panel — all activations for the key are dropped, and it can be activated again.

If something's wrong

The panel isn't in the Extensions menu

Make sure Premiere Pro is 2022 or newer and the installation ran to the end. After installing, Premiere needs a full restart — not just closing the project.

On macOS, check that ZXP Installer reported no errors (the keyoease.zxp file appeared in the installed list) and restart Premiere fully.

The panel opened blank or white

Close the panel and reopen it from the Window menu. If that doesn't help — restart Premiere.

Apply doesn't change anything

Check that the clip really has at least two keyframes on the selected property, and that you selected the clip itself — not empty space on the track.

Lost the key

Open the conversation with the bot and find the message with the key — it stays in the chat. Can't find it? Write to support and we'll resend it.
